Authortube Tag | Worldbuilding Tag 2.0

https://youtu.be/K_ABVnP2HK8

Hi everyone, Trynda here.

Today, I’m bringing you a Authortube Worldbuilding tag. This is the second one that’s gone up on my channel but I was tagged by Shamon Watson this time and I will be doing it more or less about about Elohim Universe but for the occasional question where it goes a little deeper with the main character. I will be talking about On Fallen Wings instead. So, let’s get into the questions then.

1. Briefly describe your story premise and the world in which it takes place.

The brief premise for my universe is what happens when a race of beings calmed the Elohim were betrayed by one of their own and the basic premise for unfallen wings is what happens when this Elohim in hiding is discovered and she’s forced to face her long time enemy.

2. Are there any wars or conflict affecting your character’s life?

So, in my universe, there’s but a handful of wars, not counting the ones in history and that includes the celestial war basically a civil war in the celestial plain that tore apart the messengers and caused half of them to be cast into the mortal plain. The second war that happens that’s really big is the unwon war and this is basically world war 3 and that is the one that is on the map behind me. This is what it’s called since nobody actually wins because human civilization almost wipes itself out with nukes which is actually where revival takes place. The last big war that’s really known in my universe right now is the war of revelations and this is basically what cuts off the unwon war and what starts into the second celestial war except this celestial war is now split between the mortal plain and the celestial plain and its basically the war of revelations and the apocalypse and it’s a struggle to keep the mortal plain from basically being wiped clean. So, there’s a few wars that do happen and they’re kind of cataclysmic when they do happen and it affects literally everybody.

3. Tell us a little about your main character’s family and/or culture.

So, for this one, I’m actually going to talk about the celestial plain and it’s clan structures from Elohim and the messengers. There are three different types of clans and that is the spirit clan, the mechanist clan and the beast clan and these clans basically maintain Elohim and messengers who excel in these certain areas such as the spirit clan who would be better at doing sole arts and manipulating time than the mechanist clan would be and the mechanist clan would probably be better at putting together rituals and improving the ones that already exist. And basically, that’s how the hierarchy is structured in the celestial plain and this is because they’re not really related by blood, any of them, because it’s not really physical recreation that happens so, it’s very clan structured but not really bloodline related.

4. What dangers does your main character face or what does your main character fear?

So, that’s pretty easy because Larathel, my main character, fears basically being destroyed and wiped from all of existence by Yaida and that’s basically what she’s trying to avoid all throughout her entire existence almost.

5. Are there holidays in your world that don’t exist in the real world? How are they celebrated? What is your character’s favorite holiday or thing to do during the holidays?

So, in the celestial plain, there isn’t really holidays per se and that’s because time isn’t really a static concept for them, it’s kind of wibbly-wobbly to say the least since they are inside the flow of time itself but when Larathel is on the mortal plain, in the mortal vessel, then she really enjoys all holidays because she doesn’t get to experience many of them.

6. Back in the day, how does your main character’s generation differ from their parents or their grandparents?

In terms of the messengers though, there are different generations of them because there are those who remain before the betrayal such as Lisfa, Pymon, Asma, really all the old fallen messengers and the ones who are in the upper levels of the generals of Yaid’s army. And there’s also those who remained after the great betrayal and that is basically the zealot like warriors that Yaida creates for the revelations war and then, there’s also the few that Larathel has to create using humans who volunteer and that’s because she can’t actually make a celestial vessel from scratch in the mortal plain. So, these are sort of different in the sense that they are created in the same way that the original celestial messengers were created.

7. How do people get around in this world?

So, the Elohim the messengers mostly get around by trans-dimensional doorways that are opened using phrases and signals that they trace in the air or on physical structures.

8. What do people eat in your world and what is your character’s favorite food?

The Elohim don’t eat at all because they don’t have stomachs and they’re not really living physical things, they’re weird but the messengers do have small stomachs for processing liquids and basic ritual binding agents. When those in the mortal plain are cursed by Yaida, they are actually forced to sustain themselves on blood so, that would probably be what they eat for the most part.

9. What games/fun things does your character do as a small child?

So, since Larathel and Pymon travel around a lot in unfallen wings when Larathel is younger, she’s often studying piano and really reading and keeping to herself for the most part because she doesn’t have a lot of friends that she has to play with so she kinda entertains herself with books and learning really anything she can get her hands on.

10. What do people in general do for fun in your world?

So, most of the Elohim enjoy creating life in general so, that’s often what they’ll be doing for fun, it’s just creating and experimenting and giving life to the universe.

11. What’s the song that’s well known in your world?

There’s not really a whole of songs that are well known in the celestial plain, but Larathel really likes For Elise, I probably said that wrong by Beethoven and that’s just kind of something she gravitated towards. She doesn’t really listen to a lot of pop culture so, it’s kind of hard to pin point the specific song that’s really popular because there’s not a single one that’s really popular.

12. Are there any pop culture references?

So, throughout other stories, there’s a lot of pop culture references throughout different time periods and really where that sat but in unfallen wings, there’s not a whole lot of pops culture because it’s mostly in urban fantasy and it takes place outside the realm of the norm. So, they’re not really in the know with the pop culture to say the least.

13. What language does your main character speak? What slang, expression, etc are common in their culture?

So, Larathel really speaks a wide variety of languages not just in her celestial form but also in her mortal form. Since her and Pymon travel around so much when she was a mortal, she picked up quite a few languages along the way such as French, English, a basic understanding in Spanish, she knows Latin and she also knows Enochian in this world because that’s what Pymon would have taught her. And in her celestial form, she basically knows all languages throughout history, just because of how many times she had to reincarnate and as for slang, one that’s really popular is referring to Larathel as the fallen queen and mostly, who does this is the zealots of Yaida’s Army and that’s because they don’t really respect her and she doesn’t like the fallen messengers being referred to as the fallen and she also doesn’t like being referred to as a queen because she doesn’t see herself as much more of a figure to guide the messengers back home and she doesn’t really like being referred to as like a regal entity.

14. What does your main character consider important and what does your main character consider specifically important?

The culture in the celestial plane really values knowledge and understanding and that’s what they gain their power from a lot is learning and growing as an individual soul. So, that’s usually what is most valued in the celestial plain. Why Larathel specifically values is trustworthiness because of the betrayal and how her kind had to face that being naïve as they were. And then also, that same quest for knowledge and to grow as a individual.

15. What rites of passage are in your world? And what is your main character looking forward to if any?

So, for the Elohim, there are really two big rites of passage just for them and the first is pulling themselves out of the flow of time because this is basically what brings them into existence past just a conscious timeline in the flow of time. And the second right of passage is creating their first time messenger and this is basically their apprentice, their bodyguard, basically companion in the celestial plain that’s not usually a romantic companion, she was actually looking forward to creating her high messenger more then anything and she waited quite a bit before she created Pymon just because she wanted to make sure that it was the right time.

16. What legend or folktales are popular in your world?

So, both Lilith and Larathel are considered legends in the universe underwriting and that’s because they are the first and only Elohim in the mortal plain and even still, Lilith was very weakened in her journey to the mortal plain unlike Larathel who actually gained power through the process that she used.

17. Tell us a fun fact about your character’s world.

So, a fun fact about this universe is it’s actually a omniverse and that means that it basically has potential to cross over with different fictional universes and in my mind, somehow, I’d always imagine Dr. Who kind of intersecting since there’s a lot of wibbly-wobbly time stuff going on but I’m sure that there are other universes that could also intersect with.

So, I think that’s it for now everyone. For this video, I will be taking Alina Popescu and by the book for this tag and if you want to do this tag, feel free to tag yourself and leave your answers down below or a link to the video, I would love to see them. Authortube All Hallows Write Tag

https://youtu.be/hr6R4LxmmLM

Hi everyone, Trynda here.

Today, I’m bring you the All Hallows Write Tag. I first saw this on Alina Popescu’s channel and I think I’ve also seen it on , of the dark one, basically everybody. So, I decided that I would do this one as well because it just seemed like a really fun tag to do. So, let’s get into it. This tag was originally started by Sam Caste and there are really only two rules to it and that is to give a brief description of your work in progress and use a character no more than three times. So, the work in progress that I’m going to talk about is on fallen wings and that is a paranormal urban fantasy that is based around the main character Larathel. The story follows Larathel as she’s reaped from an attempt at a normal life and pulled into this world that’s even unusual for her when she finds out that she’s a god in hiding and it comes to the point where she is forced to confront the god who is actually trying to kill her. So, with a brief summary done, I will get into the questions.

1. It’s Halloween night, what’s your main character dressed up as?

Larathel would probably dress up as poison ivy because she has a thing with plants and she’s really into growing them and maintaining them and giving them life because she’s a mother nature like character.

2. Which character is the one who shows up up the costume party without a costume?

This would have to be Lilith because she’s a stick in the mud who just wants to be left alone to her books to find a way to get back to the celestial plain.

3. Which character has the most outrageous costume and what would they be?

It would probably have to be Gabrielle because Gabrielle uses her feminine vessel as a way to beguile male human beings more often than not and uses that sexuality to her advantage.

4. Werewolves, vampires and zombies are on the prowl. Which one go after which character?

Well, since the cursed fallen messengers are almost like vampires anyways, that’s probably what would go after my characters and I would say it would probably be Lucifer going after Larathel because Lucifer has lots of problems controlling his thirst and he’s had problems in the past with controlling himself around Larathel and her previous incarnations.

5. Who wins the prize for best costume?

Lavithin would win the contest hands down and that’s just because she puts a lot of time and effort into the way that she’s portrayed by her attire and she really likes flashy and intricate looking pieces and I would say that probably has to do with the dragon inspired nature that she’s supposed to have in her personality.

6. Who hands out the tooth brushes and toothpaste to the poor trick or treaters?

I’ll say that mastermind has to be the one that hands out this kind of stuff because she is another stick in the mud who just wants to get to business and she’s a no nonsense person and she won’t even want anything to do with candy or sweets or having a good time.

7. Which characters would decide to pair up and do an Angel/Devil costume together?

So, this is a bit of a weird question because the fallen messengers and Larathel and Lilith wouldn’t really think that it’d be tactful to dress as an angel and devil combo considering the subject matter and because they ended up on the wrong side of the celestial heavenly war but Gabrielle and Michael would wholeheartedly dress up as an angel and devil combination just to rub it in their faces and be dicks for no other reason.

8. Which character is too scared to even go to a costume party?

I don’t think there’s anyone who would be too scared because a lot of the cast of the fallen messengers are kind of super soldier-ask so, they’re not really afraid of a whole lot but I can think of Lilith, and Behemoth actually would want nothing to do with the costume party and would prefer to be left alone.

9. Who overdoses on candy?

So, this one, if has to be Pymon hands down just because he’s a very playful character and if he could eat candy, which he can, be would wholeheartedly overdose on candy just because that’s the type of personality that he is. And he really enjoys living life to the fullest and he would have no problem living with the consequences on overdosing on candy.

10. Who puts a hex on someone?

This would have to be Yaida wholeheartedly and this is because Yaida’s already placed the fallen vampire like curse on the fallen messengers and he would have no hesitation when it came to placing a curse or a hex on somebody else. Yaida is the kind of person who will hex or curse anyone who gets in his way and doesn’t really care and he would kill you before he would let you ruin his plan.

Authortube Worldbuilding Tag

https://youtu.be/U2Xjv_JZuRA

Hi everyone, Trynda here.

Sorry this video is a little late this week, I was getting ready for a job interview on Friday and now that it’s Saturday, I’ve had the chance to record and you should be seeing this video as soon as it’s done.

This week, I’m doing an Authortube World building Tag that was started by Michael Thomas and I will link his channel down below with everyone else’s that I’ve tagged as well.

So, let’s get into the questions and I will let you know who I’ve tagged at the end of the video.

1. Name an author who is good at world building?

I really think that Rick Riordan, the author of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, did a really good job of world building in his series. What with mixing in Greek mythology with the real world and making it flow very well together and I thought that he did a really good job on that series.

2. Name a detail or a thing in a book which functioned only to help the world building.

I think character development helps enormously in world building because it lets you see how characters and their settings and environments are interacting together and I think that is a more organic way of building in world building than just saying, “Here’s an info dump of everything you need to know of this world.”

3. Do you prefer well-described characters and an underdeveloped setting or vice versa?

I personally like an happening medium because I think it’s important to have well flushed out settings in environments as well as flushed out characters as well. I think the two go hand in hand and I think it’s just poor writing to leave out one and not the other because then you’re just making it lopsided and how people interact with what’s normal around them speaks volumes more.

4. How much world building is too much world building?

I think it’s too much world building when you’re spending pages describing just one thing or like a handful of things. You shouldn’t spend all your time focusing on certain aspects but you should weave it organically through the entire story and show how different characters and different settings are interacting with each other.

5. What book/series could benefit from more world building?

So, you’ll have to excuse my memory a little bit, I read this book a long time ago and I really only read the first book in the series but The Dark Angel book by Meredith and Pierce, really felt like it could have benefited from some more world building. In the story, it was a vampire that was evil and twisted against humanity, kidnaps this girl and tries to make her his wife and she kind of redeems him and melts lead off of his heart, it was a really interesting story but they were just kind of in the middle of nowhere in these mountains and you were kind of left wondering, well, where is this even taking place like how did this chic just go missing and no one even thought to look for her like it just felt like there should have been more there right? But maybe I’m just misremembering it but I really wanted to get back in that series and see if they had expanded on what was going on later on in the series.

6. Do you prefer the intricacies of a world to be presented early on or revealed throughout the book?

I’d rather see and author weave the details of their world through the entire book and the entire series because I feel like it is much more organic fit and you’re not forcing it on your readers so much like you have to know this information. It’s more like letting them discover this scene where their imagination takes it instead of forcing them to look in a certain direction.

7. Describe/draw your perfect world.

Well, my world is very much my world, the Elohim Universe, I love working in it and it’s a happy mesh between our world that we know and a spin on what gods and a celestial multidimensional beings are like. I’m okay with being a little bias because I love my world and I love writing in it and that’s why I keep writing in it.

So, that’s it for now guys. I am hopefully going to pronounce everyone’s names right but I’m going to be taking three people for this tag.

I will be tagging J.D. Archer, Alina Popescu and Camille Nicole. If you like this video and you want to see more like it, then make sure to leave a like and subscribe to my channel for more.

If want to let me know what you thought of the questions or what you want to answer to them, then leave them in the comments down below. If you want to read more short stories, you can sign up for my mailing list to get a free short story or you can check out my Patreon. I’m always posting world building and behind the scenes content along with short stories for my Patreons.

I think that’s everything guys so, I will talk to you guys later.

Authortube Editing Tag

https://youtu.be/9GWk4aGYzIA

Hi everyone, Trynda here.

Today, I’m bringing you the Authortube Editing Tag and I got this tag from Julian Greystoke.

1. What is your favorite thing about editing a manuscript?

I think my favorite thing about editing a manuscript is seeing how far I’ve improved my writing skills. From draft to draft, I like being able to see my improvements and how I’ve changed my manuscript.

2. What is your least favorite thing about editing a manuscript?

I think my least favorite thing about editing a manuscript is just seeing the horrible sludge that comes out of my brain sometimes.

3. Would you prefer to edit a short story or a novel? Why?

I prefer editing short stories just because they are shorter in general and I find it easier to cut things away than to add things like plot lines and structure that would complete a whole novel in general and I have a little bit more experience with writing short stories.

4. How long does your editing process take on average?

If it’s a short story, I’d say my editing process takes about two days through all the different drafts and then I’d say that that’s about average for how long I spend per scene on my manuscripts as well.

5. What is the first thing you do when editing?

The first thing I do when editing is to read through it to make sure I’m not missing any scenes, I’m not missing any major details and just fixing some of the global problems that I see with my manuscript.

6. What is the last thing you do when editing?

The last thing I do when editing is to go through the grammar and the diction and all the little tiny modifications that I make along with gender pronouns and other very specific things to the story for window dressing, as some would put it.

7. Why does editing matter to you?

Editing matters to me because it shows that you’ve put effort into your work and that you have a sense of pride. You want it to be the best it can be and it’s not just something that you pump out of your brain and toss it to the side for others to read.

8. Do you prefer editing to writing or vice versa?

I definitely prefer writing because that’s where my love is. Editing is refining the statue that I made prior.

9. Talk briefly about your editing process and why you choose to use the process you do.

When I first start my editing process, I tend to type up what I’ve written by hand and go through and make sure the software translated it properly and while I’m doing this, I tend to do a first craft edit and add any additional scenes that I think are missing or rewrite anything that needs to be written at the time. After that, I like to go through and read it again just to see if I’m missing anything else or if anything that I changed when I rewrote something didn’t make sense. That’s when I go to my favorite piece of software for editing which is called ProWritingAid and I input my text there to see where some problem areas are that I can improve such as adjectives, diction and sentence length. This step really helps me to see what I’m doing wrong and what areas need improvement and where someone might have a little bit hard time reading things and then, I can make those improvements along with grammar checks and a few other things as well. At that point, I introduce beta readers to get some feedback from actual people and see where the problem areas are that need improvement for readability. After that’s all done and I’ve gone through with the ProWritingAid and fixed the grammar and small details, that’s when it goes off to the editor and it’s given a final proofread and often, a few other changes, before it’s sent off for publication.

So, that’s all the questions for now guys. I will be tagging Erika’s Words and Jenna The Dark One And I will put their channel links down below in the description. Revival Episode 3 is now available for anyone who has an ebook and I will be getting Revival Episode 4 up and available for preorder as soon as I have time. Videos will still be a little sparse but I’m working on getting back into my regular schedule once things start to settle down. If you haven’t checked out my Patreon yet, make sure to head over there, there’s always free ebooks and a few other world building things and behind the scenes aspects of my writing that I put up for my Patreons and I have my mailing list set up now so you can get a free ebook by signing up.

will put the link down below with all the others and I will talk to you guys later.

Authortube Tag | Voices Of YA

https://youtu.be/wpschguyVLY

Hello everyone, Trynda here.

The tag I’m bringing you today is the Voices of YA initially started by Caitlin Lampard and I was tagged by the author, Natalia Lee, and I will link their channels down below in the description. So, let’s get in into the questions.

1. What draws you to YA?

What originally drew me to YA was the characters that came from seemingly normal lives getting pulled into these paranormal undergrounds that were woven through human society.

2. Describe your writing process. Do you like outlines and structure or you seeing where the story takes you?

Before I start writing, I tend to like to make an outline start in some character sheets and certain sheets just so I can get down some notes while I’m inspired and I have an idea of what I want for those characters. After i have my outline and my character sheets, I tend to write long hand and just see where the story takes me after that. So, I do a little bit of both.

3. How long have you been writing and where are you in your journey?

I’ve been writing since grade school and I’m at a point in my writing career where I’m writing my first full length novel and I’ve had a few short stories published not only by myself but also in a local journal called Voices put out by the late Winterpeg writers group.

4. What do you need to write. Coffee? Music? Etc.

I usually like to have coffee and something playing in the background whether it’s videos about DnD or video games or just music in general, I like to have something just to break the silence.

5. If you’re could offer one piece of advice to another writer other than don’t give up, what will it be?

I’ll say keep going and just put it pen to page, you can always go back and fix whatever you don’t like later.

6. What book still has you reeling from plot twist, No spoilers.

Revelations, book three of the blue blood series still has me reeling from some of the plot twist in it and I still remember it years after reading it. I was like wow

7. What books are you most anticipating for this year?

I’m not anticipating anything really just because i tend to read things a lot on the fly depending on what I’m researching or what I feel like reading at the moment.

8. In your opinion, which YA book/ series has the most unique premise?

I really think blue bloods was unique because they tied the fallen angel myth in with the vampire myth and I thought it was an interesting take on the two myths.

What is your all-time favorite quote from YA lit?

May the odds be ever in your favour. Hunger games.

9. What book do you most hope will have a movie adaptation?

I’ll like to see the book or the series Vampire Plagues made into a movie because I thought there was a neat idea where two Victorian kids were trying to stop the mind focused vampires..,

So that’s it for now guys. The two authors that I’m tagging for these video are Kim S. Good on YouTube and Winter Beauty on instagram. If you liked what you saw and you wanna get more videos like it, make sure to leave a like on this video and subscribe for more. If you want to take yourself to this video or would like to leave me a tag then feel free to do so in the Comment section down below. All the others that I’ve mentioned in the video, I will put their links in the description down below. Revival Episode 2 is now available for purchase and you can also get Revival episode three for preorder now.

So, I’ll link those in the cards and the description as well and I will talk to you guys later.

Authortube WIP Tag

https://youtu.be/HNIQ8PQPwzA

Hi everyone, Trynda here.

Since I’m working on typing up and editing my first drafting of my current work in progress, I thought this would be a great tag to do today. Originally, this tag was done by Jesse Eliot and I will link her channel down below so, I will go ahead and get to the questions now.

1. What is the working title of your book?

My current working title is On Fallen wings, I know it’s gonna have to change because it’s not really about falling angels primarily anymore, it’s a little bit more complicated now so, it’s gonna have to change eventually.

2. Where did the idea for your book come from?

The idea for On Fallen wings kind of spun from my curiosity of why Polytheistic religions gave way to Monotheistic religions that we have today.

3. What genre does your book fall under?

I would say that my book is a genre hybrid of urban fantasy and apocalyptic adventure.

4. Which actors would you choose to play in your movie rendition?

I’m not sure about Larathel but I do know that Lucifer will be played by Tom Hiedelson, Pymon by Blake Britson and masmore will be played by Tilda Swindon.

5. What is the one sentence synopsis of your book?

Raised by a cursed under guardian of her life, Larathel just wanted to be a normal human being and go to college. When the dark part she didn’t know she had cane for her, that dream turned into a distant memory, not quite one sentence but it’s close.

6. Will your book be self published or represented by an agency?

I will definitely be self publishing my book.

7. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

I wrote the first draft of On Fallen wings in November of 2016 so It took me exactly 31 days to write it.

8. What other books would you compare the story to?

I haven’t really read any books that compare to what I’m working but I have read online that revelation by randy collie Wilson is quite similar.

9. Who or what inspired you to write the book?

My friend and author (2:53) and my love of history, religion and fantasy inspired me to write On fallen wings.

10.What else about your book might pick the reader’s interest?

If you like dark themes, fallen angels and gods, you’ll probably like this novel.

I’m tagging Natalia Leigh, Victoria Griffi, Breeze, reading, writing and life and Kenzy Stanley and I will link all of their channels for you down below for you in the description. So that’s it for now guys. If you liked what you saw make sure to like the video and subscribe for more like them. You can now preorder Revival Episode 2 from any major distributors.

I will put the link down below for you guys and I’ll talk to you later.

Authortube Newbie Tag

https://youtu.be/Qk2dD865Nj8

Hey everyone, Trynda here.

Just wanted to bring you an Authortube video, this one’s going to be the Author Newbie Tag. It was started by Jenna the Dark One and I’ll be doing it just to introduce myself to the community and say hi to everybody.

1. How did you find out about Authortube?

I found out about Authortube through Natalia Lee and Rachael Stephen. I was looking for videos back in Prep-tober last year and I stumbled upon the channels.

2. What genres do you write in?

Usually, I write in Sci-if fantasy but I’ve also written paranormal and romance and Post-apocalyptics so, I’ve kind of written all over the board. Depending on what the story needs, I’ll write whatever.

3. What is your preferred writing tense, point of view and category of story?

Right now, I really like writing in past tense, third person limited just because it lets me get into my character’s head a little better. I’ve also written first person and present tense but I’ll really write whatever the story needs for it to be a good story.

4. Are you a plotter, planser or pantser?

I, generally, call myself a Planser because I like to have a little bit of an outline and still have the creative freedom to let my character surprise me and let me not know where I’m going completely.

5. Are you self-published, published or yet-to-be-published?

So, I was originally published by the late Winterpeg writers group in their voices journal and since then, I have self-published some of my short stories and plan to likely self-publish a novel in the near future.

6. What publishing company, literary agent and/or printing company are you represented by or use? If you’re not published yet, what is your dream publishing house or literary agent?

Honestly, I don’t really have a dream publisher or literary agent because I could never see anyone but myself publishing my work.

7. What Authortube related videos can we expect on your channel?

In the future, you can expect to see some more tag videos, some stuff up about my works in progress and also my process on how I go about writing.

8. When did you start writing?

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember but for sure, it was when a friend of mine and I were passing these Star Wars comics we would make back and forth. I guess that could also be considered my first collaborative effort.

9. What was the first story you ever wrote?

Other than that comic, I think the first story I ever wrote was about this other dimension in anarchy where a queen of evil ruled and she was a badass. That, I wrote a few years later while I was in junior high.

10. What authors have inspired your writing the most?

I would have to say Catherine Smith and C.S. Louis. Let the Night Begin was probably the first book I read by Catherine Smith, it’s a vampire historical romance set in Victorian, London, and it introduced me to historical fiction and romance in a way that actually surprised me. To this day, I’ve probably read this book more than any other. C.S. Louis is my other inspirational author, the Chronicles of Narnia was the first series I ever read and it really pulled me in a direction of Urban fantasy and the multiple dimensions.

11. Do you schedule your writing sessions or simply get to writing whenever you can find time?

Generally, I write when I can find time but I try to work on something writing related at least once a day if not actual writing for five minutes or so.

12. Do you type on a computer, typewriter, write everything out by hand or use a blend of those? Where do you write in general?

So, I write everything out by hand using my Smart pen which then transcribes it so I can edit it later on the computer. Writing by hand lets me write wherever so, I don’t really have one spot that I sit, I’m on my couch a lot or I’m in my bed or outside, just everywhere.

13. What are you most looking forward to now that you’re a part of Authortube?

I’m really looking forward to meeting other authors and seeing how other people go about doing their writing. The community seems like it’s really good, I’m really close in.

So, that’s it for now guys. If you likes what you saw, make sure you hit the subscribe button, head over to my Patreon to check for new stuff over there, there’s always new content going up. All of my links are down below. I’ll include Jenna The Dark One, who was the original creator of this tag as well as Natalia and Racheal who I mentioned earlier in the video.

Thank you all for welcoming me into the community and I’ll see you later.
